As part of the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Plan (General Regulations) 2015 (as amended), Glastonbury Town Council is undertaking a Pre-Submission Consultation on the Glastonbury Draft Neighbourhood Plan. As a body we are required to consult, we are seeking your views on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan.
Therefore, please see the attached letter and our Regulation 14 Pre-Submission Neighbourhood Plan and appendices.

We're pleased to launch the first formal consultation on the Somerset Local Plan. The consultation will run from Friday 19 June to Friday 24 July 2026.
This Local Plan is being prepared under a new plan-making system, so the consultation may look a little different from ones you have taken part in before.
We want to hear your views on:
- What matters the Local Plan should cover
- How we should engage with you
- Our proposed vision and outcomes
- The hierarchy of settlements
- Draft spatial strategy options
- The draft Sustainability Appraisal of those options
