The order becomes effective on 18th February 2026 and will remain in force for eighteen months.

The works are expected to commence on 23rd February 2026 and last for 11 nights (19:00 - 05:00) to enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is permitted on this occasion.

Urgent Road Closure: – ttro422010E - Kier -Whitstone Hill, Pilton

Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (urgent) road closure at Whitstone Hill, Pilton which commenced on 9th March 2026 - 13th March 2026 (00:00 - 23:59) for a total of 5 days.

This will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways. 

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site  is not permitted on this occasion.
